Virtual Physiotherapy

It is possible to receive support along your healing journey through a computer screen!

Virtual Physiotherapy is simply having the support of a physiotherapist, with the help of some technology.

The main component of both in-person and virtual treatment plans is finding the balance of progressive and rebuilding exercise with space for rest and recovery in a way that fits into your life. The difference with virtual physiotherapy is the communication piece happens through a computer, with exercise instructions and session summary emails for support.

Virtual Physiotherapy is a service I offer only to residents of Ontario at this time.

Here are some examples of virtual physiotherapy in action:

  • Physiotherapy consultation following a mountain bike injury

  • Exercise planning and progression after a hip injury

  • Injury assessment and treatment planning, without the commute!

  • Building an exercise plan for patients with osteoporosis
